MFB RACING

The Melbourne Fire Brigade's Community Education Department has launched MFB Racing in 2003 to help promote safety and preparedness messages to a wide range of community groups.

Firefighter, Adam Smibert, has been an operational member of the MFB for over 16 years.

Adam is a dedicated firefighter and a passionate amateur motorcycle racer, participating as an entrantin the 2001 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, as well as various state and club meetings. The 2003 season will also see MFB Racing interstate.

Adam will be the talent behind MFB Racing and a spokesperson for MFB community safety messages. When he is not competing on the amaeur racing circuit or working as a firefighter, Adam will be representing MFB Racing at numerous community events and festivals, open days, display days, community appeals and fundraising activities.
